Shandu Chiuswa is a Global Markets Analyst at Nomura Securities, a Japanese investment bank, where she focuses on asset-backed finance in New York. She graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Women’s Gender Studies. Recognized for her academic excellence, Shandu was a Rhodes Scholarship Finalist and received both the Dartmouth Economics Service and Leadership Award and the Zora Neale Hurston Award for Social Sciences. At Dartmouth, she demonstrated leadership and commitment to diversity as the Co-Chair of the Sadie Alexander Association, striving to make the Economics Department more inclusive for underrepresented students. She also contributed to research on women's self-efficacy in India and the impact of wealth knowledge on behavior as a research assistant and teaching assistant.
Shandu’s professional journey includes internships at Goldman Sachs and Bank of America, where she gained experience in investment banking and sales and trading focused on credit markets and natural resources. She participated in the prestigious Latitude Fellowship at The D.E. Shaw Group. Before college, she worked for Old Mutual, the largest insurance company in Africa, and Distribution Group Africa in Harare, Zimbabwe. Additionally, she worked in the non-profit sector as a student mentor at STAR Leadership Academy in Harare, Zimbabwe, and a non-profit consultant for Peru Champs in Lima, Peru. Her international background adds a global perspective to her skill set and is a testament to her commitment to social impact, which remains at the center of her work and future career aspirations.

Melody Ellen Tsutsumi Cruz

My name is Melody, and I’m originally from the border region between Texas and Mexico. I just graduated from Dartmouth College and will be starting my first job as a financial analyst at BlackRock in New York. I studied physics and engineering and enjoy solving problems, asking questions, and learning. In my spare time, I love to draw, run, and make modular origami. My favorite hobby, however, is spending time with my friends and family.

Renata Edaes Hoh

Renata Hoh is a Business Analyst at Arthur D. Little in New York, originally from Salvador, Brazil. Her work bridges consulting, technology, and design, and she’s especially interested in solving real-world problems through interdisciplinary collaboration. At Arthur D. Little, she’s worked on projects from accelerating clinical trials for a pharmaceutical company to building computational tools that streamline internal operations. Before that, she worked on marketing strategy at the Brazilian fintech Stone, helping launch a national campaign.
Renata graduated from Dartmouth College in 2025 with a B.A. in Computer Science modified with Studio Art. As a King Scholar, she received a full-ride scholarship for international students committed to social impact. At Dartmouth, she explored virtual reality in the humanities as an XR Fellow, contributed to astrophysics research using Hubble Space Telescope data, and served as a teaching assistant in computer science courses for two years.
She also coordinated Project Preservation, a Holocaust history seminar and trip to Poland, and spent a summer in Naples, Italy, volunteering in a summer school for low-income children. On campus, she was active in student life, holding leadership roles in the Brazilian Society, The Women’s Network, and Kappa Delta Epsilon.
Outside of work, Renata loves painting, photography, surfing, and backpacking. She speaks English and Portuguese and is learning Spanish. She’s passionate about using technology and design to build more connected, inclusive communities—and is excited to meet others who care about making an impact across cultures and disciplines.

Francina Kolluri

A Dartmouth College graduate with a BA in Economics and English, Francina was involved with Women in Business and the Undergraduate Finance Committee. Francina studied the retention patterns of first-generation students in the discipline and also engaged with the department in an administrative capacity as co-chair of the undergraduate student group and serving as a teaching assistant. Francina interned at J.P. Morgan last summer in the Metals and Mining/Clean Tech Equity Research team.
Francina is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland. Francina enjoys exploring DC, touring art museums, and finding great local food spots.

Dana London

Dana finds purpose where strategy, technology, and people intersect. After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University and, most recently, a Master of Accounting Science with a concentration in Data Analytics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, she is set to rejoin Microsoft in its selective Finance Rotation Program, building on internships at Microsoft, Coca-Cola, and EY. Dana focuses on tech enabled financial solutions that make work smarter and teams stronger, and she is currently pursuing both CPA and CIA credentials. Guided by data-driven insight and genuine care for those around her, she aims to help organizations and the people who power them grow, innovate, and flourish.

Brittany Luckain

Brittany Luckain received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a triple minor in Public Policy, Women and Gender Studies, and the Business Studies Certificate from Hunter Macaulay Honors College. With a love for numbers and a belief in advocacy, she is passionate about interconnecting business administration with public policy and service. This fall, Brittany will be starting her full time role at Ernst & Young as a Risk Consultant.

Armita Mirkarimi

Armita Mirkarimi graduated from Dartmouth College in June 2025 with majors in Government and English Literature and a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. She completed two honors thesis projects in Government and Creative Writing. She had extensive experience in political journalism and government relations, having served as a John DiStaso Political Journalism Fellow at WMUR-TV, where she led the daily political newsletter and produced the weekly show "CloseUP."
During summer 2024, Armita was selected from 200 interns to serve as Acting Kuwait Desk Officer at the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, where she wrote diplomatic notes on AI policy and coordinated strategic dialogue with the Special Envoy to Yemen. Her Capitol Hill experience included working as a Legislative and Press Intern for Representative Lou Correa, drafting press releases and coordinating media interviews on immigration and national security issues.
Armita's research interests focused on Middle Eastern politics and diasporic media. She received a competitive Raynolds Foreign Policy grant to explore Iranian nationalism through diasporic media coverage of the Women, Life, Freedom protests. At Dartmouth, she served as Captain of the Mock Trial Society and founded the Civics Student Association.
A War and Peace Fellow and James O. Freedman Presidential Scholar, Armita is fluent in Farsi and proficient in Arabic. She received multiple academic honors including the Katherine Booth Brock Prize and Robert H. Nutt Writing Award. Currently, she is an Associate at FGS Global, the nation’s largest communications firm, in New York City.

My name is Maritxell but I go by my middle name Rubi. I am originally from Peru but I mostly grew up in New Mexico. I studied Environmental Engineering at Dartmouth and am now working at Langan as an engineer. I am passionate about sustainability and social impact and hope to combine the two throughout my career. Outside of classes and work, I enjoy reading, making art, and gardening.

Hi! My name is Samaura Steele. I graduated from the University of Maryland in May 2024. I am originally from Trumbull, Connecticut.
Currently, I live in Austin, TX where I serve as a Brand Manager for IBM. As a part of the brand marketing team, I work on our creative campaigns that support brand awareness.
Outside of the office, you can find me trying out a new fitness class or a restaurant downtown. I also love to spend my time walking on trails, surrounded by nature.
Community and mentorship have always been a driving force in my life. With that said, I am truly honored to be a part of the RISE 2025-2026 cohort. I am looking forward to meeting everyone!

Maëlle Tanoh

My name is Maëlle Tanoh, a Strategy and Business Analyst at Kaufman Hall, where I help healthcare organizations make informed financial and strategic decisions. I grew up across Brazil, South Africa, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire, and moved to the U.S. for college, where I studied History at Yale.
I’m passionate about the future of healthcare and education—especially how technology and innovation can drive more equitable, effective systems. I love exploring how strategy can be used to solve real-world problems, particularly in spaces that impact people’s daily lives.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, skiing whenever I can, and staying involved in mentorship and community-building. I find energy in collaborating with others who are equally curious and passionate about creating change.
I’m thrilled to be part of the RISE Career Launch Program and look forward to learning from and with this inspiring community.

Madison Webb

Madison Webb is a recent graduate of Harvard College, where she studied Sociology with a research focus on social networks, technology, and consumer behavior within markets. Her background combines academic research with industry experience in media and technology.
As Content Design intern at Meta in 2023, she worked on a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists to improve user experience for Meta Business Suite, which supports over 7.9 million small businesses. As an Ad Sales intern at Google on the Google Customer Solutions team in 2024, she managed a portfolio of 120 client accounts and exceeded sales targets. This summer, she will build on her digital advertising experience in traditional media as an Ad Sales intern at The Walt Disney Company.
On campus, Madison was formerly president of the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, held research assistantships at the Radcliffe Institute and Harvard Law School's Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, and worked on the undergraduate recruitment team for Harvard's Admissions Office. Beyond campus, Madison serves on the Alumni Advisory Board for the Veritas Schools in Atlanta and was a Regional Delegate for the Ron Brown Scholar program.
A collaborative leader, Madison is eager to bring her interdisciplinary foundation in media, technology, and business to teams shaping the future of the digital world.
