      <image:title>RISE Leadership - Gail Ayala Taylor - Founder</image:title>
<image:caption>With 25+ years of experience as a marketing professor at top academic institutions in the U.S. and abroad, Dr. Taylor has educated countless undergraduates, MBAs, senior managers and CEOs. Having taught at a large public institution (University of Georgia), a private research university (Northwestern), a floating college (Semester at Sea) and her current position at an Ivy league institution (Dartmouth, Tuck School of Business), she has witnessed firsthand the gap students face as they transition from undergrad to first jobs. Though well-equipped academically, many students need help going from a structured academic learning environment to an experiential learning work environment. Dr. Taylor created the RISE Career Launch Programs to give early career individuals from underrepresented groups tools to accelerate earning their place on the career fast track. Dr. Taylor received her Ph.D. degree in Marketing from Florida State University where she was a McKnight Fellow. She holds a BA in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management and an MBA in Marketing, both from Michigan State University.</image:caption>

<image:caption>University: Dartmouth College RISE has been an invaluable part of my learning journey and confidence-building in my early career. RISE has given me an incredibly special community of women and provided me with a wealth of resources, knowledge, and access to people. I use the word "community" instead of "network" because my RISE family is much more than other professionals who I only distantly keep in touch with. Professor Taylor was very particular about creating a community of women who would come together, learn from each other, lean on one another, and build with each other. At a time where I had no idea what "corporate" really meant or how to navigate the politics of my professional environment, the RISE family gave me a community to rely on and the resources to trust myself and be prepared to get back up after each misstep. Additionally, the First-90-Days book was pivotal in helping me to feel comfortable about remembering the various people I was meeting, the skills I was learning, and my contribution to my team. I gained so much confidence from keeping the detailed notes that we were taught to keep. Confidence and community were the two things that I had no idea that I needed, but proved to be invaluable gifts, and I could not be more grateful.</image:caption>

<image:caption>University: Dartmouth College Entering the workplace, especially as a woman, is hard and often filled with lots of challenges with very little resources. You often find yourself without a good plan to develop your strengths, improve your weaknesses, and unsure how to advance professionally. This is all while having a lot of high expectations set upon you, both by your company and yourself. That is why RISE has been so vital in the acceleration of my career. It has provided me not just a space to ask questions about professional situations or resources on how to identify my strengths so I can better channel them, it has provided me a community of ambitious friends that have been always willing to help me rise.</image:caption>
